This blog post is a project. It is only meant for ms Yun.ps ms yun, u read already, pls tagg[ty].
On the 1st day of Malacca, we went to theNan Li Chinese School at yong peng. the school has only 80 students.Unlike our school, their school has a lot of flies. After the students welcomed us, we see some performance by the students.After the performance,we had our refreshments...... One thing very surprising there is that there are children of different races in the chinese school! Later, we read parts of our storybook to the pupils there,and also gave them our book.After this, we proceed to play some games,including flying the kite.
Next we head back to the Yong Peng 'bus terminal for our lunch. We had a delicious lunch there, and after that, we head to Malacca.
Upon reaching Malacca,we went to visit Christ Church, A Famosa, then we went some shopping.After that, we head back to the hotel, then the teacher briefed us for a while then we go back to our rooms to bathe.
Day2: Early in the morning, we went to the second floor of the Reisannace Hotel to have our buffet breakfast.After the delicious breakfast,we went to Kumpumg Indah. There, we see the process of squeezing water out from the rubber through a machine.Next we see the Silat performance.Silat in malay means the art of self-defencing. After watching the performance,a performer teaches us some moves of the Silat.
Later,we crossed the road and go to the another part of the kampong. First, we walked through the kampong, then the man in red cap explaned to us about the rubber trees, and other plants.After that, we go into a house for the catwalk.Tyhen we had a malay woman, teaching us how to fold the ketupat thing. we also had the chance to explore around the house, and even buy things. After exploring, we went to buys soft drinks as the weather there is really hot!!!!!!!!!!! After buying drinks, we walk to a hall for our batik painting.some of us also bought the paintings to bring back hometo paint.
After that, we went for lunch while we let our batik paintings to dry under the big hot sun. we also had a buffet peranakan lunch.and everybody queing up for the icecream until i go outside to buy, because is lazy to queue up....... After lunch, we wnent back to singapore, and in the bus we had our batik paintings back...... during the 4hrs bus journey back to singapore,we watched two movies- one, a Malaysian chinese movie, and other is The Land Of the Lost.By the time we reached our school, it was already 7 pm , and i was alreay tire like dont know what thing..... But, maybe i wont really want to go back to Malacca, as it is just like singapore-so hot. I would prefer to go back Hokkaido again! :]
